A pool lit from within changes the whole garden. The water glows, the shadows of the plants move, and the pool becomes the centre of the evening even if nobody swims.
We use low-voltage LED spotlights recessed into the wall, either white or RGB with a choice of colour. They use little power, barely warm up and last for many years.
How many lights, and where
The number depends on the size and the membrane colour: dark membranes swallow light, so they need a little more. Lights usually go on the long side facing the house, so they shine away from you rather than into your eyes.

White or RGB?
Warm white gives an elegant, calm atmosphere. RGB lets you pick a colour or let the lights shift slowly, which children and rental guests love. Many clients choose RGB and keep it on white most days.
Safety
The spotlights are fed from a low-voltage transformer outside the water, and the pool panel has residual-current protection. The electrical connection is made by a licensed electrician.
Light around the pool
A few low lights among the plants, an LED strip under the bench or the edge, and the pool ties into the garden. See how it looks on an above-ground pool with hidden lighting.
