Haogenplast membrane: what you see under the water
A PVC membrane does two jobs at once: it keeps the water in the pool and gives it colour and texture. We use membranes by Haogenplast, a manufacturer with decades in the market, with a written ten-year warranty.
Mosaic-pattern membrane while a hose fills the pool
At a glance
The membrane comes in rolls, is cut to the pool's dimensions and heat-welded on site. There are no grout lines to blacken, nothing to paint, and when after many years it is tired, it is replaced without touching the structure.
Plain, mosaic, textured
Plain membranes, from white to black, give a clean, modern look. Mosaic prints recall the classic tiled pool. Textured ranges such as Stoneflex and Matrix feel like stone under your feet and are ideal for steps and shallow zones.
How to choose a colour
The same water changes completely with the membrane colour and the sky. As a guide:
White: bright turquoise, the classic island picture
Sand: green-blue, like a shallow beach
Grey: crystal clear, neutral, works with concrete and timber
Navy and black: deep water and reflections, ideal for infinity pools
Technician's tipDo not choose a colour from your phone screen. Ask to see the sample outside, in the light of your own garden, ideally with a little water on it.
The ranges in photos
The photos below are Haogenplast's own and show how some of its ranges look in real pools.
Haogenplast membrane carries a written ten-year manufacturer's warranty for watertightness and material defects. Its life depends a lot on water chemistry: correct pH and moderate chlorine keep it looking new for years. See pH and chlorine and warranty and service.
